I had a very bad experience with my recent visit to Burjeel Hospital and the conduct of Dr. Sausan Abdul Rahman. Despite having a confirmed appointment at 11:20 AM, I was seen more than one hour late without any explanation. Finally, when I entered the room, the Dr. asked what happened without greeting!! Also, during the consultation, the doctor’s behavior was highly unprofessional—she was eating and checking her phone while I was speaking, and her attitude and manner of communication were rude and dismissive. During the examination, she injured me and responded carelessly, stating: “No need to panic, I injured you and it’s fine.” In addition, she informed me that I only needed two blood tests. However, upon reviewing the results, I found that additional unrelated blood tests were added without my knowledge or consent, which were not relevant to my complaint. This raises serious concerns regarding transparency and the appropriate use of insurance coverage. Due to this awful experience, I would like to clearly state that I will not be returning to this doctor under any circumstances.

Very disappointed after my first appointment with Dr. Sausan. This was my first pregnancy, and I expected the visit to feel more reassuring and meaningful. Unfortunately, the appointment felt extremely rushed. The ultrasound lasted only a few seconds, and we were barely able to hear the heartbeat before it was over. There was very little communication throughout the visit. When I asked a couple of questions, I didn’t feel listened to, and when I turned to my husband to ask if I had forgotten anything to ask about, the doctor interrupted and abruptly said, “No, you didn’t forget anything, you can go.” The doctor came across as cold, with no empathy for the fact that this was my first pregnancy and an emotional moment for us.
